I'm a member of the American Board of Forensic Accounting (ABFA), and hold the CRFAC and RFI designations. I'm also an IRS Enrolled Agent (EA), a Canadian CPA (CPA, CGA), a Ghanaian Chartered Accountant (CA), and a certified member of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA), the global professional accountant's body with international recognition in about 175 countries. I also hold a certification in US international Tax.
The Enrolled Agent (EA) is a tax practitioner, Federally-authorized and empowered by the U.S. Department of the Treasury. Enrolled Agents represent taxpayers before the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) for tax issues that include audits, collections and appeals. Enrolled Agent status is the highest credential awarded by the IRS and it's recognized across all 50 states in the USA.
I have been an accountant, bookkeeper, and tax practitioner for many years. I have a vibrant background in Investigative and Forensic Accounting, Tax planning, Tax Preparation, IFRS adoption procedures, Corporate Governance, Business Process Re-engineering, Taxation (US, UK, Canada and Ghana), Software Selection & Deployment, and practices that impact the bottom line.
I am a QuickBooks Advanced ProAdvisor certified in both the United States and Canada and have experience in many other proprietary accounting and ERP software programs, including but not limited to Excel, Airtables, QuickBooks, Tally Accounting, CINC Systems, turbo tax and ProConnect Tax Online.
I worked for Intuit QuickBooks for several years and then with Legal Zoom Tax and Turbo Tax as a Tax Manager!
I started Aryee Accounting & Tax Services in 2018 and we currently have about six employees total. We have a presence in Canada and Ghana as well. We are a one-stop shop for individuals and businesses' accounting and tax needs. Whatever they may be from cradle to graze.
