There are many places which trigger you to spend a lot. Such as if you just go out for a visit, you end up purchasing something which the eye may like. You would not really need it but you will purchase it out of nowhere. 

This needs to stop and you have to present the logic to yourself that whether you want to spend or not. Try to avoid the triggers and practice it so that you get used to it. You do not have to suppress your likes but if you already have it then what is the point of making the same purchase again?
