About Gordon Schafer

After receiving a bachelors degree in Communications with an emphasis in film production I returned to Loyola University to study accounting. I then took the uniform CPA Exam, administrated by the AICPA, in November, 1989 & sucessfully completed it in May of 1990.
When the firm I was with decided to close their doors in September 1991 I worked for another firm until December of that same year. In February of 1992 I decided to open my own firm where i have remained until this day.
I am at tax planner, preparer and consultant. I work in the areas of income tax for all entities except non-for-profits.
I also prepare financial statements on an income tax basis of accounting.
