Janice Corbett is the principle tax provider with staff handling monthly accounting services and administrative needs.
Janice graduated from Bentley University in 2007 with a Masters in Accountancy while working in public accounting and became an Enrolled Agent with the Internal Revenue Service in 2006. Janice has been a member of National Association of Tax Professionals (NATP) since 2007 and National Association of Enrolled Agents (NAEA) since 2016.
In 2018 Janice earned the NTPI fellowship from the National Tax Practice Institute™ (NTPI) provided by NAEA. The NTPI teaches Enrolled Agents, CPAs, and tax attorneys how to represent their clients. Representation requires expertise in the tax code as well as knowledge of the system and how it works. Clients deserve the best defense possible, and this requires continual education and review, as well as a robust network of expert colleagues who are willing to offer advice and assistance as needed. Enrolled agents receive their right to represent taxpayers directly from the U.S. Treasury, after proving in-depth knowledge of the IRS tax code through examination.
As a member of National Association of Tax Professionals and National Association of Enrolled Agents, Janice has a vast community of professionals and advocates that provide excellent educational seminars, updates from the IRS and state governments and have a direct link to the IRS Advocacy Board that make recommendations to Congress on proposed and existing tax legislation.
