Zen Wealth Management Group is an accounting and wealth management business located in the heart of north Chicago. Eddie Patel, President and CEO, shares his passion for helping individuals and small businesses thrive, by offering an array of tax and financial services.
With a background in Finance from the University of Illinois (Champaign-Urbana), Eddie originally began working as a civil engineer. Even though he liked the work, he knew it wasn't ultimately what I wanted to be. Since then he has turned his interest in financial services into a career. His primary aim is to help people to manage their money more effectively and to realize their financial goals through opportunities and services they might not have considered prior.
As an independent advisor, who also holds numerous professional licenses, Eddie prides himself on being able to really listen to a client and to then offer the appropriate services based on their goals, needs, and preferences--not based on the interests of a corporate boss or other biased source.
For fun, you'll find Eddie traveling, talking politics, trying any restaurant you tell me to, telling war stories about poker while training newbie poker players, and watching Chicago sports teams.
