About Vital Signs Financial Services LLC

I am the owner of Vital Signs Financial Services LLC. I provide individual and small business income tax returns; and I also provide fee-only financial planning. In preparation for these services, I have achieved the following qualifications:

• I passed all course requirements of the CFP Certification Professional Education Program offered by the College for Financial Planning in Denver, CO.
• I passed the two day, ten hour certified financial planner exam administered by the CFP Board of Standards (this exam has a national, historical pass rate of only 57%).
• I passed the Series 65 Exam and earned my Series 65 license.
• I completed all course work and passed all exams to earn my Enrolled Agent License and as such, I am enrolled to practice before the IRS.
• VSFS LLC is a Registered Investment Adviser in the State of Ohio.
• Currently completing the coursework to enable me to become a Fellow of the National Tax Practice Institute.

I am also the owner and principal of Robert Leonhard Planning and Consulting specializing in fire department mergers and consolidation with extensive experience and knowledge of Joint Fire District Formation. I also provide fire department officer hiring, officer promotion and executive searches. My education and experience includes:

• Bachelor of Arts, The Ohio State University, December, 1987.
• Master of Public Administration, The Ohio State University, June, 1992.
• Master’s Policy Paper: “Formation of Joint Fire Districts in Ohio”.
• Continual consulting experience with public sector organizations since 1992 to the present.
• Fiscal Officer for the Pleasant Valley Joint Fire District, 1996-1997.
• Full time firefighter and paramedic at Pleasant Valley Joint Fire District from December, 1997 to the present.
• Lieutenant and Emergency Medical Services Coordinator at Pleasant Valley Joint Fire District, August, 2004 to present.
