About Stacy Eley

Stacy L. Eley is the founder and sole proprietor of Eley Tax and Accounting Services, PLLC, a Dallas/Fort Worth, Texas, based CPA Firm specializing in Income Tax Preparation and Business Consultation Services.  As a seasoned tax professional with over 30 years of experience in the financial services industry, Stacy can ably assist individuals, families, and small-medium sized businesses navigate the US tax code, provide solid accounting solutions, and offer financial and income tax consultations. 

Stacy received her Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting, with a minor in Economics from Alcorn State University and she obtained her Master’s Degree in Business Administration (MBA) from Louisiana State University.  

Stacy is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) and a Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE); she maintains both professional licenses in the State of Texas.  

Stacy has been a Texas CPA for over 15 years and she remains on the leading edge.  Stacy keeps abreast of the constantly evolving US tax code and  updates to accounting pronouncements, audit standards, as well as fraud prevention and detective controls primarily through her memberships in the National Association of Tax Professionals (NATP), American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA), and the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners (ACFE).  

Stacy also enhances her experience / knowledge through the review of relevant journals, publications, and periodicals as well as through attending various webinars, conferences, and lectures sponsored by the aforementioned organizations and other entities. Through these professional educational endeavors, Stacy meets her annual Continuing Professional Education (CPE) requirements.  

Stacy enjoys exercising outdoors, participating in community service initiatives that enrich her local community and abroad, volunteering at her local church, listening to Podcasts and playing fetch with her beloved pet Shaq.
