FBFM is more than an accounting firm; more than a tax preparation firm; more than a financial consultant. We are all of the above and more. Trained field staff visit your farm to assist you with your farm records and problems. We also prepare farm, corporation and partnership taxes.
FBFM began in 1924 establishing a unique partnership with the University of Illinois Department of Consumer Economics to provide guidance and advise area farmers. The result is a low cost, specialized program that is uniform throughout the state. Illinois is comprised of nine regional associations.
FBFM is a not-for-profit cooperative managed by a board of directors elected from among the member farmers in each county. Accurate records are the start to answering your management questions. Good records don’t cost...they pay!
