Initially, I began tax preparation services for H&R Block on a part time basis in 1988 in Chula Vista, CA, while still on active duty. Upon transfer to Panama, I prepared tax returns on a part time basis for a H&R Block franchisee. West Tax Services was initially opened in 1993 subsequent to my retirement from active duty with the US Navy. On an annual basis, I attend the IRS Nationwide Tax Forum for the latest changes and updates to the tax code.
