Kristina Bowen is an Enrolled Agent with over 8 years of experience in tax preparation. She has spent a large portion of her career volunteering as the principal tax preparer for the military VITA Tax Center in Yuma, Arizona. She has received several Certificate of Achievement awards from the Department of the Army for instrumental service to the Army installation’s volunteer tax assistance program. Kristina has successfully owned and operated her own tax and accounting business since 2019. Her clientele stretches across the United States. She is also endorsed by financial guru, Dave Ramsey, as his recommended tax professional in the Olympia, WA area.

Kristina holds a Bachelor of Science in Accounting with a concentration in certified financial planning and business administration. She graduated Magna Cum Laude from the University of Maryland-University College in 2017. She is also a member of the National Association of Tax Professionals (NATP). Kristina’s qualifications enable the secure and professional handling of tax preparation for personal accounts, joint filing, investment accounts, real estate, rental properties, trust accounts, small business, farm, limited liability corporations (LLC), and other unique situations.

Kristina is no stranger to contacting the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) on behalf of clients to resolve complicated cases that require in depth studies of tax code and laws in respective jurisdictions. She has successfully fought to lift IRS levies with intuitive plans that instill confidence for all parties. With an extensive background in tax preparation for active duty and retired military, Kristina has gained tremendous knowledge of tax law from most states in the nation. To maintain certifications, Kristina undergoes over 24 hours of annual continuing education and ethics classes. She is focused and determined to maintain the highest level of professional education in her field to ensure her clients get the best possible service. As a result of her ambitious desire to study tax code, she has successfully resolved several conflicts between the IRS and clients while teaching IRS agents about tax code of which they, themselves, were unaware.
